H2 Models

Engas Global brings whole new set of modelling tools related to hydrogen energy systems to undertake feasibility studies, technical design studies, cost analysis and project risk assessment.
This will include whole system modelling by including stand alone wind turbines, off grid solar PV and using surplus electricity from the grid to feed the electrolysers for hydrogen production, compression, and storage in cylinders, and then using hydrogen via fuel cells and or H2 ICE engines for different field applications in the road transport, maritime, agricultural and industrial sectors.

Whole system modelling

These models will provide in depth fundamental understanding to predict a number of things for example, how much green hydrogen will be produced over a period of time for specific electrolysers (as defined by the users) in terms number of cells, operating pressure, temperature and time series data of electrical power.  This will also include plotting I/V curve, energy efficiency, cost of hydrogen w.r.t to electricity cost, capital cost, and servicing cost, cost of H2 storage, and cost of delivering hydrogen from one location to another location using different mode of transport. This H2 models will help different types of user from academic researchers, industry professional, and energy policy experts.

This models can also be used to quantify the level of risk associated with hydrogen leakage and hydrogen storage and so relevant risk assessment will also be conducted using these models for project specific installations.
